The Biennale of Art

Ever since its foundation, the Venice Biennale has been at the forefront in the research and promotion of new artistic trends. The Venice Biennale was founded in 1895 and it is now one of the most famous and prestigious cultural organizations in the world. It has been recognised as the world leader in contemporary art exhibitions and the countries participating have increased from 59 (in 1999) to 88 in 2013.
