Welcome
Hotel Pensione Wildner is a charming 3 star hotel in Venice with 16 bedrooms and an ideal location, right on the promenade of Riva Degli Schiavoni, offering one of the world’s most enchanting views: St Mark’s Basin, the island of San Giorgio and the Grand Canal. This is the same view that inspired Henry James’s “Portrait of a Lady” when he stayed in 1881.
Wildner is next to St Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the luxurious boutiques. Rialto’s Bridge, the Biennale of Art, the area of Accademia and the Fenice Theatre are also within close proximity.
The interiors are decorated in traditional Venetian style. All the
rooms feature wooden floor and fabric wallpapers in yellow and gold; some have Murano glass chandeliers and original antique furnishings from 1800. Beds are made by a local artisan and have comfortable matresses, soft pillows and duvet. Rooms are equipped with television, complimentary WiFi, air conditioning and safe.
Breakfast is served in the panoramic veranda which turns into a restaurant serving Venetian cuisine for the rest of the day.
Wildner Restaurant is in fact visited by locals and tourists alike, and offers traditional
Venetian dishes made with the best local seasonal ingredients freshly delivered every day. The pleasure of good food is enhanced by a stunning view and good wine.
Reception is open 24 hours and we are always at your disposal to suggest itineraries, excursions to the islands, tickets for concerts and recommend restaurants.
