Nicola Fullin, Director since 1965

He was born and raised in Venice and he would not live in any other city. He just can't get tired of the spectacular sunsets he can enjoy from Hotel Wildner, and the long walks he takes in the morning with his dog. Nico’s favourite area of Venice is Rialto, with the food market and all the “bacari” (traditional bars) serving cicchetti (the venetian equivalent to tapas). 

Luca Fullin, Food and Beverage

His passion for food begun when he was just a child, running around his grandfather's kitchen garden, watching the seasons change and tasting their different produce. Now Luca is a vineyard explorer, so in love with wine to the point of founding an ecommerce of only natural, arisanal wines: www.meteri.it

Benedetta Fullin, Marketing

She brings back to her family business what she has learnt in 7 years in London, working at some of the best boutique hotels under the talented GM Henrik Muehle and with Michelin starred chef William Drabble. Benedetta has a passion for discovering the hidden gems that Venice has to offer and for everything that is made locally, and to blog about it.

Donatella Fullin, Pastry Chef

Guests can’t stop raving about her apple cake and her tiramisù is second to none… she has an old family recipe which is unbeatable. Donatella is also responsible for Slow Food in Venice, raising funds for the association and providing a valuable support to the creation of 10,000 good, clean and fair food gardens in African schools and Villages. 

Michele Silvestro, Reception and Reservations

He is in charge of reservations and things to do in Venice. Michele is very passionate about his job and has years of experience working in hotels. He enjoys art, and what he loves about Venice is the fact that it is an open air museum, with something beautiful to see in every corner.

Sandro Mulfari, Head Chef

He joined Ristorante Wildner in 2005 and he has been a chef in Venice since 1990. He knows how to cook all the the dishes of the Venetian tradition, and he can pride himself of cooking one of the best Baccalà mantecato in town; his - now unveiled - secret is to cook the cod in milk. 

Luigi Hernandez - aka Gigi

He joined in 2005 as a kitchen porter, and he scaled his way up to be the right hand of Sandro. His Fritto Misto is “as light as an air kiss” as reviewed by Travel + Leisure Magazine (January 2015). Gigi’s favourite moment when he cooks is plating the dish.

Lucio Favero, Chef de Rang

Lucio has been serving guests at Wildner since 1989, and has worked with the Fullin family for all the three generations, since granny Lidia was there. His training is classical, he is an irresistible old school waiter, and the best person to talk to for recommendations on what to eat.

Bepi and Rino

Bepi joined in 1985 whilst Rino in 198X. They are our maintenance men, and they know absolutely every corner of the Hotel. Two valuable team members that have been working with all the three generations of the Fullin family.
