Hotel

A three-star hotel, run by the Fullin family for over sixty years, with a long history of Venetian hospitality and catering.
A place that once welcomed travelers of yesteryear and now hosts travelers from around the world.

The Pensione Wildner is now recognized as one of Italy's Historic Places. It has been welcoming guests since 1960, when Lidia and Nico Fullin opened its doors.

Overlooking the Riva degli Schiavoni, in a building dating back to the 16th century, the Wildner is a testament to the historic 19th-century guesthouses that sprang up around St. Mark's Square.
From its privileged position, it offers an extraordinary view of St. Mark's Basin, the island of San Giorgio, and the Grand Canal.

The same view that inspired Henry James when he stayed there in 1881 and noted in his diaries:
“I lodged on the Riva 4161 (now Pensione Wildner), fourth floor. The view from my window was a beauty... Here I wrote diligently every day and finished my novel (Portrait of a Lady).”
